Modular conveyor belts are built from modules with different structures made by injection molding of thermoplastic material (polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, acetal), and connected by a solid pin made of plastic. The tapes are driven by gear wheels that act both as a guide profiles.
Modular tapes are characterized by high strength, durability, abrasion resistance and rigidity of the side and diagonal. Plastic construction ensures ease of assembly, disassembly and maintenance, and high resistance to chemicals and temperature. In addition, low weight and low coefficient of friction to minimize the power of the drive, which saves energy and costs.
